What mods must be done to auto tranny for 3.4 swap

I just need the info for the needed modifications for the auto 4wd tranny to work with the ecu. I know Team Shiftpoint has completed these, but havn't found the exact details. Anyone know?

I don't have the details, but I thought it revolved around one of the speed sensors and the additional shift solenoid.

i could be wrong on this, but i was pretty sure you had to have the exact transmission from the same vehicle that the 3.4 is coming from. i say this because i was looking into doing the swap a little while ago and thats what i heard from a number of guys...there's a detailed thread on this that i'll try to find

edit: ok i take that back, i guess its just if you are replacing the tranny that you have to get the one from the same vehicle the engine is coming from. i'm not familiar with the rebuild of the original tranny, but i'd be very interested in gettin more info. cause that could help keep down my cost if i ever get enough money to do the swap.

Do a search for TeamShiftPoint over on 4x4wire, he is the guy to talk to about that.
