What to look out for

Hey guys, I think I've found a Tacoma that I want to trade my Ducati in for. It's a 1996 4X4 2.7 Man. std. cab.

It's got 122k on it, what kind of common gremlins are found with this set-up. I'm checking the truck out tonight, what services or maintenance records should I focus on if any?

Thanks for the help in advance! Oh and here's the VIN if anyone has the urge to get some history on it 4TAPM62N3TZ163431

With those small tires, the gears are probably 3.58's. If you ever plan to run larger tires and don't plan to regear, then walk away now. Running 31's with 3.58's tends to suck, nevermind if you want to run 32's or 33's. If you can get one with at least 4.10's you can run 32's/33's without regearing.
Otherwise, check out the frame really well to make sure there is no rust. Also, look at the exhaust manifold, they have a tendency to crack, so you will need to replace it ASAP if it is cracked.

Thanks for the advice. Where can I look to see what final gears are in there?
