What gears do i have?

ok the specs....
93 pickup sr5 v6 4X4
at 70 mph i am turning approx 3000rpm with 31 inch tires....any ideas...is there any way i can change my gear ratio to lower my RPMs on highway driving?

5th gear ratio is .838
31s are typically 30.5" tall.
Do the math and a 4.56 axle ratio gets you 2947rpm.
Close enough?

I assume if you want to LOWER your rpm's then you must not offroad the truck to much...

Yo BTrek - don't do it! 3000 at 70mph is already perfect!! Drop too much and you'll lose all the get-up-and-go, and you don't have a lot of that to spare! It will be a dog and you'll hate it. But if you really want to do it, I bet you can trade someone your 4:56s for their 4:10s in a heartbeat.

ok...thanks for the info...i off-road once in a blue moon...i just don't have the money to be replacing parts and upgrading...
