what do you guys think of these sliders?
thinking of going with these sliders. i caled the owner, zach, and he is a way cool dude. i will be ordering these tomorrow and hopefully they will get to me by thursday. let me know what you guys think and i will post the results

awesome! you know what, after looking more, that site is nearly identical to the other site! i called t-g and they said that they would be able to ship on monday and free shipping!, i like them now!

If you don't run them, then a) you won't be able to bolt on the sliders , and b) in a weld-on situation, you run the risk of dimpling your frame if you take a hard hit.

agreed, i think that i want to weld them on. they come with the plates for that. the gussets are used for bolt on method if i am correct?

...that's why I brought 'em up.
On the TG site, the gusset description reads:
"Rock Slider Gusset Kits
Our gusset kits include plates for the frame and triangle corner gussets. Plate welds to frame and rock slider welds to plate."
So I don't think they come with the sliders.

when i asked the guy on the phone, he said they came with the plates to be welded. he said that the gussets were for the bolt on applicaion. i will have to clarify before buying for sure then!

I'll get you as many frame plates as you need for install of one set for $20 + shipping. I will drill upto 4 holes in each plate for $1 a plate. I work in a lab for a metals company, and have access to a shear. pm if your interested.
