Going to look at an 89 4Runner. He has the 3.0 out cause it broke the T-belt. New pistons are fitted, and the heads are rebuilt (but off). He is asking 1500 as is. It has 165K, has 5 speed, and newer tires. Only damage is small dent in tailgate.

Worth it?????

As long as you can do the work yourself to fix that beast, 1500 aint bad, id assume you could probably part the truck for that much. Buddy of mine bought his 89 with a rebuilt motor and 230k for 3000.

As long as you can do the work thats a pretty good deal.

A buddy of mine is selling his 89 w/33" BFG M/T's and practically brand new rock crawlers for about 3500. Unsure of the actual mileage but he estimates around 225-240 given the records that he has found on the vehicle.

It is 89 SR5 4Runner
A/C, electric windows (all work), 5 speed, the dent is to the rt rear corner(tail light pressed in about 1/2"), brand new 31/10.5 tires, newer alum wheels just like the ones I am selling. Metalic gray. No sunroof. Removeable top.

Needs:
new clutch, engine re-installed, A/C reconnected and charged, towed to my house (OK his house)
