Wet Okole Care/Preservation

Who actually has the shampoo and UV stuff that comes from Wet Okole?

Do you use it and if so do you think that it makes a difference?

How many of you just have the covers and do nothing to them?

I had an unfortunate Combo accident on the way back from my bro's hockey game last night, so I would like to clean it up the right way. I am not too concerned about the UV stuff since my windows are pretty dark, but the official shampoo intrigues me.

Peace,
Adrian

I use the shampoo. I'm not sure if it does anything or not, but I'm not sure what regular soap/shampoo would do to the neoprene. And at $280 I'm not about to gamble.

I put a capful of the shampoo in the washing machine and wash them one cover at a time in cold water, then I let them air dry. Works fine for me. I'm not sure if it matters, but I've got a tumble washer (one of those front load ones), not the typical top loaders/agitating washers.

You could just get the soap and conditioner for a wetsuit, but I don't think to many people waterski up where you live Flag.

The instructions that came with my WO's said you can use wetsuit soap- I think it's the same as what they sell.

I just use water. I had coffee stains on an old set and Woolite didn't hurt or discolor it... I used just a bit though.
