were the tacomas equipped with the 2.4 engine?

i've always been under the assumption that the 2.4 22re ended production with the end of the 1994 (early 95) trucks, but i've been seeing for sale ads with 2.4 engines in the description. is it a different 2.4 or is it just false info? i thought it was just 3.4 and 2.7 offered in the tacoma years.

2RZ was offered in 2WD trucks.

The 22RE and 2RZ-E are different engines. Different bore/stroke, different heads, etc, etc.
