well went out today and I guess I hit the rear drivers side quarter panel. I don't remember hitting it, and there are no scratches, or paint chips, .. its just bent in. A little suction cup dent remover, and it will be fine.

But I went to open the gas tank, and it won't release the lid. I can hear the mechanism unlocking it (clicking) but it doesn't open. How do I get the lid open to see what exactly is bent in there. I stuck a screwdriver in there, and tried prying it, while someone else held the release lever, and that didn't work.

pry harder... sounds like its pretty damaged then...

If I pry harder, the cover will bend.

Theres no hit there, I don't understand how it got bent? and where it did bend in, is down by the fender flares, not near the tank opening

maybe the cable that works the release got pinched? Thats the only thing i could think of.

fast and careless is only on paved roads ... honestly theres no scratches, no scrapes ... nothing .. its just pushed in right behind the fender flare ...

but I got it to work .... now I just gotta find a dent king
