Well I guess I'm going to start spending money on the 4runner

Well since the 4runner isn't selling I've decided to sell my 3 other cars. Infinity G20t, Ford Probe turbo and Jeep CJ5. I should be able to get about what my highest offer is out of those three.

Now I am going to start spending money of it. Well in the spring probably. 1st thing is to put in an E-locker and that brings me to my first question, can I regear one? I have 4.10 gears right now and if I find a good deal on one with a higher gear ratio can I use my stock gears on it? Eventally I'd regear the front and rear but w/o any other mods I don't feel it's nessesary.

I think I will also be putting 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with a flowmaster muffler on and probably some headers. Be nice since I have a TRD air filter on the intake side.

I just put brand new Wrangler RTS on it. In another 40-50k miles when those wear out I'll probably go to Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts.

For a lift I am thinking of using one of Sornoran Steel's kits, either the 7.1 or 1.1 kit.

I'm also probably going to take the running boards off. Is there any type of mudflap that can help keep from throwing all over my almost perfect exterior. I'm also going to get some lights for the brush guard, a roof rack and lights. I'd also like to do a 99+ bumper swap.

Any other fairly common things to do or are recomended.

I wouldn't bother with the mandrel exhaust or headers if you are staying N/A. They won't gain you anything and may actually cause you to lose some low end torque. Just get a magnaflow or whatever sound you like muffler welded in place of your stocker and call it a day.

Well, here's a link to those mudflaps that you need to buy, once you take off the running boards.

Could I upgrade to the one touch down passengers window and the one touch sunroof? I was also wondering about the removable pannel at the rear passangers side. Mine has a little pannel and from what I have seen it looks like they have a much bigger pannel that runs up over the wheel well, but I am not sure.

I'm also thinking of eventally doing the hood scoop. Are they functional?

I'm also thinking of doing a custom grill that looks like the of FJ with Toyota spelled out.

When my parents move to Central America I am thinking about seeing if I can get some Hilux parts. Diesel 3.0 anyone?

I am honestly not sure. My locker has 4.30's in it, I know they made them with 4.10's too.

Yeah. I am about 95% sure I have 4.10s right now. 100% if you belive the door sticker.

Since I am not planning on moving up in tires size for a while I am fine with the 4.10. What I'd like to to do is find either a 4.10 locker or find one with 4.56 and regear it with the 4.10s and keep the 4.56s for later when I need them. I found one post and someone said you can just swap your your open diff gears of the ones for the locker but I was hoping to confirm this. Like I said out of the 100s of posts I looked at it's the only one that adressed it.
