Well I finally did it....

I got my lazy butt up, and ordered my CB Antennas.

I ordered two 4" FireStik II's , two Heavy duty springs, two Door/Hatch mounts. I decided the 2" on my rack would hit way too much stuff. So I'm mounting it on the back. One for my 4runner, and one for my wifes Suburban. Now I need a SWR meter...What's a good one to get. I found a VALOR PDC1 for $10 bucks. Is that a good deal?

Yeah, just stay away from the cheapo Radio Shack SWR meters. I bought one on clearance for $9.99 and it didn't work at all.

Talking *chuckle*

I'm confused -- is it a 4 " (4inch) antenna that your mounting on the back or a 4' (4 foot) antenna?

Sorry about that...It's a 4', I guess I got a little "shift" happy.

Good to know about the Radio shack brand, because I almost bought one on ebay.

Thanks.

I bought one of those cheapo Radio Shack meters and it worked fine the one time I used it. At least I think it did...

What do you mean when you say it didn't work at all?
