Weird clutch failure - AISIN Find
Went to replace my clutch this weekend and I found out why I was getting nasty shudder.
It was like that since I bought it last year. PO said a shop replaced the clutch. The missing finger was nowhere to be found which leads me to think the shop broke it trying to put the tranny back in.
I also made a nice discovery. I picked up a RhinoPac "SE" clutch kit from RockAuto. I knew it was OEM spec but I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled it out of the box and it was stamped AISIN - especially since it was only $206. Score.
In the past month I've tossed in: new front struts, clutch kit, flywheel, rear main, airlift 1000 airbags and tundra brakes. All in time to tote the popup to the beach this weekend.
