Weight of an 88 Shortbed single cab 4x4?

I have been searching to see if anyone had ever posted specs of the older
4x4's. I am curious as to what the weight of my truck is. Will be more with
all of the added "perks" but just curious as to what they weighed in the
beginning. Even did some google searching, but I am coming up empty.

My '89 weighed about 3400 lbs when I weighed it last time.

Yep. I seem to recall the readout on the scale at the dump was about 3500 lbs. when I took a small load of trash there in my '88.

scales...

Stop by one of the local truck stops, or smaller independent truck yards in your area and use their scales. I always role into the scales for the heck of it to see if I've gained weight...

I have done that with some of my other vehicles. I need to do this with my
truck. I was just curious and trying to get a basic idea of what they weighed.

3500 is right about what I was thinking.

Thanks guys.
