Which way do these wires go back in on the fuel pump?

I had to drop the fuel tank and i didn't discconnect the harness for the fuel pump.

These wires came out of their socket and i don't know the proper order.

You are so not going to live this one down!!!

Why pray tell did you need to remove the gas tank ??????

I am thinking that two wires will be for the fuel pump the others for the sending unit you can tell here she doesn`t need a gas gauge.

surprisingly after reading the wiring diagram twice i can't get a definitive answer which way is correct.

The plug is f10, the only wires it shows are the blue and the white ones. It doesn't show position or the other three wires. I am prob not reading it correctly.

Look at the sending unit it will no doubt have the other three and the colors .

If you look at the other side of the plug the colors should be the same just match the pins to the correct color.

If you need help call you know my name I am in New Tripoli I am in the phone book.

It's in there--it's just in two different places. The fuel sender F10 is under Combination Meter: 1-Orange 2 Yellow-Red 3- Brown-Black.
The Fuel Pump F10 is under Engine Control: 4 - Lavender Orange 5- White-Black.

Yeah, I know. 4 doesn't match. So it has to be 4 = Blue. Your year must be different than the one posted on-line. Boy, you posted this all over the Internet. Glad I could help.

I have the ebrake cable off so i wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Glad it worked.. That light trifecta is common, I know. My '99 doesn't have that stuff (except ABS). Off the top of my head, I would check the ABS sensor on top of the diff--it's right where the e-brake cable goes by; pretty sure that's a possible if it is unplugged or damaged.

Wyoming 9--My brother has a dairy farm in Kempton, PA less than 10 miles from New Tripoli. I am out there a lot. Beautiful area.

Durk next time your up this way your welcome to stop for a visit. Just let me know

Sure not many dairy farms left. I sure would not wish that on anybody these days with the price of fuel. Since most people think milk comes out of a carton.

Well I am glad your wife`s 4Runner is running except for the emergency brake meaning no rear brake adjustment

Thanks! Any nice 4x4 roads out that way that are public access? I have not explored much as there is usually a lot to do at the farm. Bro likes to take advantage of my mechanical skill.
