Went out in the snow and drove around with both VSC on and off and just let me say with it off I was able to do J-turns and slide so much easier than with it on.

On the dash it said VSC off and had a little pic of a 4x4 with the front wheels turned.

Every once in a while the dash still made a buzzing sound cause I would spin the tires I guess it is still partially engaged.

Whats your experience with the traction control, I perfer it off in the snow if you wanna have fun

Took the truck out again and the VSC was killing me thought I was gonna get stuck cause I could not spin my tires to pull through the snow banks the plow truck left behind, but with it off it did great, I advise anyone that goes out in any deep snow to turn it off.

The tires on the truck are OK but I missed my Yokohama Geolandar AT

It snowed in South Carolina and th state went nuts... It never snows here but maybe once a year if we're lucky. We actually do have some state-suported snow plows though -- a whopping TWO! (No joke) Anyways, I tried going around in the icy snow with and without VSC, and I think I'd take with it. Without it, I did a complete 520 on a wide road (yeah, stupid, I know, but I won't do it again now!) Luckily, nothing bad happened. That day though, I saw probably 50 or so people lose control, and 4 wrecks, one of which I was witness to. If you're on the road, I'd say use VSC. If you're off road, that's an entirely different story.

When their was 3 inches on the road VSC was fine but when it came to driving through 3 foot snow plow banks the VSC was causing me to get stuck cause I was tryin to spin through it and my wheels where braking cause it detected slip causing me to get stuck
