ok so i read like 50 threads about which muffler ppl prefer and ive decided that im gonna go with the vortex cherrybomb so plz dont try to get me to get a flowmaster or magnaflow or etc.

I saw on this forum and some other ones that most ppl got this muffler from meineke installed for about $100. My question is where would i be able to get one for around that price bc i called meineke located in SA and they told me they would charge $320. Thats way out of my price range right now...

I saw that burtman is selling the muffler for about $100 but i dont know how to weld so would it work if i got this and somehow tried to bolt it on? thnx for the help guys...

you can get a vortex cherrybomb off summit for alot cheaper than 100 bucks.

Also, you shouldn't be charged for more than 100 bucks for just piping... Before I met the guy that welds my exhaust up ( He does it for free now that he knows i'm dedicated to going to him and recommending him customers all the time. ) he used to charge me 60 bucks for 2.25 piping.

Honestly, with a fancy tip, muffler of your choice, you shouldn't spend more than 200 bucks for a cat back.

Also, good luck with the vortex cherry bomb, my brother's has two burn holes in his. ( no they are not puncture wounds )

I had my magnaflow ordered at a muffler shop and it cost me like $120.00 bucks to buy and have installed with no tip. There is no reason for any shop wanting to charge you $320 or even anything over $200 for just a muffler buy and install, that's outrageous! Order your part online and go to your local muffler shop and have them put it on. Simple as that, good luck with the install and hope you like your vortex

lol thnx for the help guys... ya i was gonna try to find a place that might be able to do it for cheaper seeing as im gonna use the stock piping. OH ya and when i called meineke the first time the guy was like dont buy a vortex cherrybomb bc they suck in my opinion so u should go with a magnaflow. So i asked how much for install and product and he said with stock piping it would come out to a little over 400. I thought that was freaking NUTS!

yeah thats hella overpriced. look for a little muffler shack. and get it done there. if you go magnaflow, go for 18" if you want it to be a low tone, 14" if you want it a bit louder.

ya i found a place that doesnt have any vortex's in stock but will weld a muffler on for $25....
