Vibration and Noise at 50-70mph. Help.

Vibration and Noise at 50-70mph. Help.
Here is the skinny on my rig. 182,000k mi. Downey 2" lift coil rear, torsion in the front.
The vibration starts when I hit about 50mph, it used to be at about 55mph, seems to be getting worse. Anyways seems to ride smoother when accelerating than when decelerating between 55-70. It is definitely coming from the front, driver's side more than passenger. Would this be the CV joint?
What is a sign of a failing CV joint?
If I am not being clear enough please let me know and will clarify.
I am new to this forum and any help would be much appreciated.

My hubs are off. I just got new 32" Mud Kings and wheels over the weekend so they were just balanced. I will check the tie rods and ball joints and get back to you guys.

Check your front tires for wear. I had a similar problem and my right front tire was cupped pretty bad.
If that's the problem, you can move it to the rear, but you'll need to figure out what's causing the cupping.

I see that you have new tires, but I always start with easiest (and cheapest) ideas.
1. Check Tire Pressure
2. Check Tire Balance
3. Check Tire Alignment
If they are brand new, you might have a defective tire. Tell the shop where you had them installed and they should do some of this troubleshooting for you (for free, probably, except for the alignment). A defective tire should be on their bill, not your's.

I had this on my first 4runner, 86, 22re, bone stock except for 30's all around. It got worse when the top was off, and better when the top was on. Like the front wheels quickly bounced oppositely LRLRLRLRLRLRLRL... I sold the truck without a diagnosis, but here's what I did find...
It's not the tires; rotated them all over the place, got new ones, no change.
It's not alignment; had it done and no change.
It's not bearings; had the front right repacked since it was much worse than the left, no change.
Also replaced the idler arm, no change.
Otherwise I just beat up the truck in stock condition until it needed more cash than I could pour into it.

I had a U-joint cause a similar problem on a Subaru many years ago. It was a front wheel drive, and the U-joint was causing vibration that I think was coming from the rear. It was too long ago to remember, but the symptoms were similar. I know that this is coming from the front, maybe the CVs are going out like he thinks? I changed plenty of those on the Subaru, too.... But those symtoms were not vibration, just aweful grinding clunking sounds
