Will 15'' Alloys http://www.4wheelcustoms.com/Products.asp?Cat=33 with 3.75 BS fit on a 2003 4x4 TRD v6 without any issues?

To increase MPG. I'm switching to a 15'' alloys and AT tires. I'm currently running some 265/75/16 D MTRs with steels wheels which is approximately 86 per wheel.

Switching to a 32'' AT tire with 15'' wheels will reduce the weight to 62 lbs and will decrease rolling resistence.

The only way to assure fitment is to turn the steering wheel to full lock, get under the truck and measure the clearence between the calipers and the inside of the rim. If there is less than an inch clearence, then 15" will NOT work.

or less than 1/2? difference in diameter is 1" diff in radius is 1/2"... if you measure space right now between your stock 16's and calipers, you will be measuring only half of your clearance.... so i am guessing that if there is less than 1/2" 15's will not work, but of course this is sketchy depending on measurements of the new rims, and of your current rims

Well, If could test fit them I would not be posting about this issue.

FYI a couple TTORA guys said it woul fit.

I'm sure he meant to go under with your stock rims and measure the clearance you currently have... if you have 1/2 inch of clearance between rim and tire, you will be able to get smaller rims, the fifteens will require at least 1/2" of clearance on your stock rims as they will be 1/2 smaller in that direction... 1" smaller total

if you have, say only 3/8 of clearance, then doubling this will give you .75" when you need to have 1" this means you will not be able to switch

for example, when i tried jamming on 15 rims onto my 994rnr with 16's stock, they rubbed slightly on the calipers...

and if "FYI a couple of TTORA guys said it woul fit" and you were absolutely set on their determination then in your own words, you would not be posting about this issue... not trying to be an a$$ just trying to help, the method SC4Runner mentioned, is really the best option you've got

The Tacomas are different. I think most Tacomas run 15" w/o problems.

The spindles of the Tacomas are way smaller than those of the 4runners. I've compared them side by side (off of the truck) and there is a considerable difference. But, Im sure that was a 15" factory wheel Tacoma. Did they come with 16" larger brakes? Donno.

I don't have stock rims. I got the confirmations after I posted it here. Specfically, these rims with 3.75 of back spackign will fit on a 2003 4x4 TRD V6 Tacoma:

04 Rocko Taco

http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/tacomawheels.htm Check these out. These are the only 15's I know of that will fit your truck, your bigger calipers will cause a problem with 15's. These Wheelers Off Road steelies, will fit, they are made specifically for the Taco/Runner with the stock 16" rim. Unless you have VSC, if you do, no 15's will fit. Some people say shave the calipers to get 15's on there, but the fluid passages are actually very near the surface of your caliper, so I dont recomend the shaving.
