I have been reading Daniel Stern's Lighting website and now I'm thinking of upgrading my wiring harness. You should see the wires going to my head lights, my head phone wires are bigger :cry:

I want build custom engineered wiring set up. Everything will be solderd and heat shrinked and done right, but for the life of me I can't remember what "str wire" means when I am looking for the wire I will by.:pat: Anyone remember???

I want to find a supplier that has a good selection of colors and sizes in stranded wire, none of the solid wire.

Just a guess: Stranded? as opposed to solid?

Yea it means stranded rather than solid core. Its much easier to route stranded wire to where you want it to go....Flexable

Stranded wire can also handle more current than solid wire for a given gauge.

Solid wire gets little use these days except in breadboarding circuits. You should be using stranded wire everywhere in your rig.
