Upgrading tires 31x10.5x15 to 32x11.5x15
I'm upgrading my B'stones to BFG AT/KO's soon. How much power will I lose going up one size on stock rims? I've seen posts that say 3-5% but I want real-world feedback, not slide-rule computations. I have the 3.0L and the 4x4 package (4.88). How will my RPM's change if I do this mod? If it revs a little lower that's ok, I just don't want to be winding much past 3k when I'm doing 65mph.
I'll be sure to take plenty of before and after pics and post them when I am done.
Thanks Y'all!

Unless somebody has done a dyno test, then all you have are theoretical computations. Anything else somebody says is just an opinion, not hard facts. I'm an engineer so I trust numbers. With everything else being equal then things will be about 3% different, that's the laws of physics.
Having said that, I believe I noticed a power drop when I switched to 32s. But now I'm having doubts because I also added a lot of weight at about the same time (see what I mean about opinions). Your RPMs won't be affected much, I'm still running pretty high. We've pretty much the same set up.
The 32 bfgs should look pretty good. before and after pics are a must.
