Unneccessary amp draw... MPX Multiplex Communication System MPX-B fuse
Ok guys (and girls) i've been having an amp draw problem in my 99' 4runner, it pulls .08 amps when it's off. i have found out that when the power antenna is not fully retracted, that it pulls .02 amps.
This has narrowed me down to .06 amps. I have found the culprit, being the MPX-b fuse, or the MPX Multiplex Communication System. I don't know what this is. I've searched but havent came up with much. Can anyone shed some insight? When i pull this fuse my amps drop to .01-.02 (which is what it should be). Does anyone know what my problem is?

I'm having the same problem with parasitic draw. Help
My total draw is 135 mA. Possibly two bad circuits. :
1) Dome/radio/clock circuit is drawing 80mA; The main problem appears to be the radio because when I unplug the radio the circuit only draws about 5 mA (which I assume is clock memory)
2) MPX-b circuit is perplexing: the circuit seems to draw 35mA, which sounds too high..is it?
edit: with both tthe MPX-b and Dome fuses pulled, the system draws 8-10 mA
