Um winter is around the corner. Front end help?
My truck lately has been making a crazy clunking noise when the 4x4 is engaged. Someone suggested that it might be the spider gear in the front diff.
If it is how much of a pain in the arse is it to change? On the same note, I did a little aggressive corner acceleration and the front end popped a little. And, I was in normal 2wh. Is this a major problem? Any input will help.
Thanks

don't have the qualifications to address your problems, but your title "winter is around the corner" is pure blasphemy! winter can wait
you could disconnect the front prop. shaft and see if the problem persists, ruling it out and determining if it's the diff or some other front end part...
