Question Typical price for a 1993 4x4 Pickup???

Just poking around the net for used Toyota's I came across a 1993 4 Cylinder Reg Cab 4x4 Automatic with 120,000 miles on it. All it says it p/s=power steering and great radio.

What would this go for typically?

Thanks guys.

I think I paid about $6,000 for mine (stealership price). The only difference is it's a 5 speed and had 92,000 miles on it. It came with a Leer canopy, no a/c and a crappy cassette/radio.

You paid that much this year? This is a private sale.

I sold my '94 two weeks ago (private party) and it went for $9,500. I should have asked more due to the amount of interest there was in the vehicle. I would say $9,500 for a 153,000 mile vehicle is probably the top end of the spectrum though.

Well, I called the guy real quick, I could not understand him very well, broken english. He said he has a lot of interest, but is firm on the price. I asked him if the 4x4 has been serviced or has he had the timing chain/water pump done and he said no.

So? I do know these are suppose to be serviced around 100,000 . I could easily throw another $2,000 into it if it needs brakes, timing chain/waterpump and such.

The guy is asking around $2,000, but I have not seen the condition and I have to see where I am finacially because of school and work, a lot has been going on in the last 2 weeks.

Just curious about the condition of it and such, I might go see it in the next couple days to see, do not know.

Yeah, I figure it is a good deal, but condition can be a factor and I do not think this vehicle has A/C, stripped, just with automatic.

I paid $1500 for my 93.. 189k on it about a year ago. 5 speed, reg cab, no AC, only power steering and tilt. It does have a nice component set(stereo) that sounds awesome with the new head unit I put in. I did get a good deal though. There are a few dents..and one of the fenders is rusty, but overall it was a good buy.

i paid $5k for a 94 with 84,000 on it three years ago in cleveland, OH. (5 spd, no a/c, no power locks or windows, aftermarket aluminum wheels with 30" tires and a fiberglass bed cap, pioneer CD player).

i prolly paid a little too much, but it was in really good shape for having lived in the rust belt and my old car had died so i was ride-less and i really wanted to buy a 90-94 yota like that day, so...

i think it depends a lot on where in the US you are, so comparing prices cali guys paid, for example, might not be worth much.

expect to add 2k to 3k more than what the truck should really sell for if you buy it from a stealership.
