two taco questions
1996 tacoma 2.7 liter 5 speed man w/67,000 miles on the truck
The first question is in regards to installing factory cruise control on my truck. I was wondering how hard it is, and what the list of parts would look like to make the upgrade. At a local salvage yard they have a 2000 taco with a v6, (i don't know if it is a man or auto, or even if that matters) I was wondering if the parts off of the 2000 would work for me or not.
The second question I have is in regards to a clunk sound that I hear coming from the rear end or my truck. I have only noticed it when I am turning left into somewhere and I hit a small bump at the same time. I was wondering if there was a suspension bushing that is notorious for going out or if the whole axle has that much play in it?
Any help with any of these questions would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

If the V6 is a drive by wire electronic throttle then NO it won't work. Don't be fooled by a cable going to the throttle, my 04 is drive by wire and has a cable, but a stepper motor actually controlls the throttle, and there are no extra parts for the cruise control except the switch, the ECU does everything.
