Arrow Tundra Brake Upgrade JUST ONE QUICK QUESTION

I'd like to do the Tundra brakes since I need new ones any way. But I need to know if they will work with my 15" Mickey Thomson Classic II's. I had to grind about a 1/4" of material from the front of the factory calipers to get em to work.

Q. Measuring from hub center to outermost part of caliper, is there any difference 4Runner/Tundra and if so how much?

I love these wheels but I also want more breaking power. Thanks

As you heard it over there, 15" is a no-go.

Here's sort of the info you wanted on caliper size....

I read Big Fish's thread b4 I considered asking this question. He's got a lot of good stuff there but I didn't see any actual outer surface measurements but he does state that the 15" issues are due to the calipers being wider which would cause interference with the inner spokes of factory Toyota wheels. I'm not worried about that, I have 1.25" Spidertrax spacers and the inner face of the MT Classics II's are no where near the caliper. Only shaved 3/16-1/4" from the calipers where it made contact at the inner barrel of the wheel.

First, I wanted to know how much farther the Tundra caliper protrudes outward versus the stock caliper. For a reference point, I used the wheel studs and a carpenters square to see how far the outermost surface of the caliper sticks out compared to the wheel studs. Notice that both calipers are nearly identical in terms of where they sit in relation to the wheel studs.

I thought that there would be a big difference here due to how many issues people have with wheel clearance. It looks to me like the problem isn't the outermost surface of the 231mm caliper, but rather the surfaces/ridges between there and the wheel mounting surface. That section of the Tundra caliper is shaped differently, see pics below...

A = 10 1/8" Long
B = 6 1/8" Wide
C = 5 5/16" long
D = 3 5/32" wide

Advanced website shows they have two calipers in stock, so tomorrow morning, I'm bringing mine to the store for comparison, might even take some pics for ya'll for the yay or nay.

C'mon guys, you know I love it when people tell me "IT CANT BE DONE" so yeah, we'll see

Ah, gotcha. I thought you were looking for outer diameter, hub to top of caliper. If you need it after your Advanced trip I'm willing to measure my 231's but I don't have a stock caliper to measure against. Show me exactly what you want and I'll do my best.
