true dual exhaust ?
anybody ?
I have done a search , and I know of borla's system .. but it's not "true" duels ...
I'm doing a conversion on a truck , and am having problems with the crossover pipe . engine is a 2000 4Runner 3.4L
downey sells headers .. ( I can modify for my application) and I know about the O2's and cats .. but dont know about any computer modifications maybe necessary ?
so my question is .. has anybody taken the exhaust , and made a "true" duel exhaust ?
please help me out here .

Jasond has his O2 sensors in the flow of just one bank without any problems. See the end of page 2 on this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...z-swap-126413/

he's still only running 1 pipe ..
My thoughts are to make a "custom" alumn. fuel tank , and hang it in the middle of the frame .. then runn the pipes down the sides ..
question is !
do I need to run 2 sets of O2's ? how do I do this ? series ! or ? (OBD2 Programagable?) I know I need 2 cats .. but I am also unsure on pipe size ?
any one done this ?

Can't believe it hasn't been said, but I don't think true dual exhaust will sound good with a V6. Heck, even V8s don't sound good without an H or X pipe. Not to mention *steps into flame suit* a little back pressure goes a long way for torque.
