Truck making weird whining noice
It's the end of Saturday so I won't be able to have it looked at until monday, so I'm going to ask you guys once again...
I was playing in the snow doing donuts in a very big parking lot, and towards the end my truck started to make a somewhat loud noise when idling, I only went to 5,000RPM once or twice so I don't think I abbused it at all.
I'm a bit scared, it sounds pretty loud coming out from under the hood. I can't tell where it's coming from, I doubt it's the belts either, besides I just had all the pulleys/belts replaced (including timing belt, crankshaft seals, the whole 9)
Has anybody ever had this with a 3vze?
Please me

Check the power steering pump. I had a similar thing happen to me while doing dounuts. My guess as to what it was, I think having the wheels turned all the way and holding it there put some strain on the pump, which then caused the belt to slip. It could have damaged the belt enought to the point where it isn't turning the pump enough and causing the whining.

Now can someone tell me approxemetly where the power steering pump is located, I'm not a mechanic, and this truck is fairly new to me, and I'm still learning things about it.

Should be somewhere near the driver's side of the engine I believe.
I can't say for sure, but you can probably just trace the hoses from your power steering fluid holder down. I hope it helps, if not someone else will chime in.

for the v-6 it's actually on the left (passenger) side of the engine. I don't know if you have AC, but if you do, the power steering pump is the top pulley, if you don't have AC, then the power steering pump is the only pulley on the left side of the engine
