trouble with the diff breather mod
so i did the diff breather mod and now sometimes when i put my truck in drive it feels like something is holding it back and somethimes when i give it gas frome a stop it feels like something slips like my gears are slipping or something. anybody know what could be happening

Check to see if you've had a rear axle seal fail. This lets gear lube contaminate the brake shoes and they swell and bind the rear wheel(s). If you can see gear lube splattered on the inside of a rear wheel, this is most likely the problem.

cold definitely affects our trucks but i guess its objective as to what is considred normal. i mean when its cold lie 5 degrees my truck is mad sluggish until it warms up after 15-20min worth of driving. hell it acts like that when it hits 30 degrees. As far as you going from a complete stop if it feels jerky it may be an early sign of a tps. nothing to worry about to you see a check engine light. bottom line i wouldnt worry too much yet. just keep an eye out for more symptoms

sorry for the dumb question but whats tps. It doesnt only feel like that when its cold. its like my brakes are worped or something.

i have the same problem, and it is the axel seals. i know you had the seals replaced but if the shoes were only cleaned it will still cause them to stick. remember they were contaminated with diff fluid.
