Tricks to pulling plenum on 1990 4Runner 3.0 V6?
Got a gas leak. I'm pretty sure it's the plastic plug the others have mentioned existing towards the back of the block, under the plenum..
I'm considering pulling the plenum myself and fixing this.
Question to the group: I am mechanically inclined (rebuilt chevy motors, lash VFR750 valves)... pulling the plenum seems pretty straight forward. Is this correct? What are the gotchas?
I already plan to take pictures and document all the damn hoses.
thanks!

Sounds like you've got it covered, but once you've taken all the crap off and put it back on you'll probably be thinking 'Well that wasn't too hard, just a PITA with all the hoses and stuff. Maybe I should have gotten the injectors cleaned and valves adjusted while I was in there.'
