TRD Air Filters
Well I tried the search I couldn't find what I need to know. Im planning to get my air filter replaced soon, and was wondering is it really worth it doing it? Does anybody have the TRD air filter installed and noticed any performance gains?

Amsoil
Filters are as follows, in order from best to worst: Amsoil, TRD, K&N, Stock (Paper). Amsoil and TRD are re-usable, so you'll never need to buy another one again if you can clean it. I'm not sure about K&N. Also, the first three have oil in them, and that's why they trap more dust and dirt. Amsoil traps more dirt than TRD though, without restricting air flow. Also, the TRD ones sell for one and a half times the Amsoil ones, just because they are red and say "TRD" on them. It's up to you, but the best buy is Amsoil. You can register at Amsoil's Corporate Website and purchase from them directly or look elsewhere. I think the direct purchase is the cheapest though. That's my 2 cents.
