trany prob.

my 1998 tacoma 4x4 auto trany

some times when it gits wormed up, when i come to a complete stop it will act like its in a high gear and takes off realy slo, but it dont do it all the time just here and there, i had it serviced and it helped for a wile help please

have you fixed this one yet?

Bring tranny to operating temp. then check your atf level.

Possible shift solenoid problem or something wrong with the ECU

Next time it happens, manually shift into low gear and see if it downshifts

well i got it serviced and that fixed it for a month but it started back today.

yes when it does that i can shift in to low and it does fine.

i'll check the atf level when i get home if its low i guess i got a leak.

Shift solenoid, most likely. Change 'em all yourself for about $200.
