Trans leak on 96
Anyone ever had one leak from the front of the tranny. It looks like inbetween the tranny and motor.
I know these cars tend to have a common leak and thought maybe someone else has had this, I was going to drop the tranny to fix it but if I had the seal that is bad first that would be best.
Thanks
Jason

There is a possibility that what looks like a leak is actually oil that stayed on the skidplate after an oil change and blew back onto the tranny. This happened to me and when I had a new tranny put in the tech said the RMS was fine. Since I've had a new tranny put in I haven't noticed any sign of more oil on the tranny.
Of course if you're noticing new oil dripping down that's a different story, but you could always try scrubbing off the accumulated oil and dirt and seeing if it reappears.

It's leaking down both ides of the tranny about half way up which leads me to believe it's coming from somewhere else! But it is tranny fluid.
