Under dash wiring?

I'm going to instal a trailer brake controller and need help with the wiring. Can someone point me to some under dash wiring information? I have a '97 4-Runner and there dosn't seem to be a wiring harness for the older ones. What I'm looking for is the wire from the brake light switch and a hot wire when the switch is on (not the acc.).

If memory serves the brake light switch is on the brake pedal, look under the dash. Should be two wires, one is hot with the key on (or maybe hot all time come to think about it) and the other is hot only after you step on the pedal. Use a test light to find the switched one. For ignition power, I'd probably tap an ignition fuse right in the fuse box since its close by. Don't mess with ECM fuses or anything critical like that, find one for something like the cig lighter instead...
