Toytech lift question

Whats the difference between the OME 3" Lift 4Runner Coil Kit and the 3" 4Runner 4WD Lift Kit? Do they both use spacers, does the OME kit have longer coils?? Thanks

It says it on the website.

OME 3" comes with coils front and back with a top plate spacer i believe.

3" 4wd lift comes with spacers on the front, with the top plate spacer. rear springs, it doesn't say if it's toytec or what. and a diff drop.

its up to you. OME definitely will be more expensive because it is expensive already! add a diff drop( which isn't that expensive)...plus you will need to change your shocks. (with the 4wd lift they have you should change the rears, but you can leave the stocks in the front).

for both you may want to consider extended brake like, panhard bar drop, and ebrake relocator. check www.sonoralsteel.com for those.

That was pretty brief. Just keep looking on here bc theres tons of info. good luck.

Depending on the year of your 4runner I think it was 96 only (if not someone else will chime in), on the front coils there was only 7 coils. Which if you get teh 3'' spacer lift you would only get like a 2-2/1/2 '' lift out of it. If you they are the coils with 8 coils on it you will get the full 3'' out of it. I got the 3'' lift from toytec also comes with a top plate. My buddy got the total kaos front end so he sold me his 03 front coilovers. If you go with the coil kit i think its just a set of adjustable coil overs.

You do not need brake line extentions for the front if your doing the 3'' spacers.

I highly recommend getting the diff drop too, just not from toytec. Get it from downey, only 10$.

For the rear i got the 3 1/2'' springs from downey offroad. Also comes with a longer brake line and straps so you do not over extend the rear.
