Tjm t-17 + 2" bl

Okay, so I have installed on my truck a 2" Body Lift with the bumper brackets.

What is it going to take to install my new TJM T-17? Will the bumper brackets supplied with the Body Lift be sufficient? Is there a write up to mae it fit?
I know Sonoran Steel sells rebuilt brackets for BL, but only if you buy/bought the bumper through him. I e-mailed him to ask if I could but them from him, awaiting reply.

What do you guys think? I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm dealing with before the bumper gets here. Thanks.

Your bumper brackets coming with the body lift are for the stock bumper. In order to set your TJM to the right high you're going to have to modify its mounting brackets. He's no longer here but contact Blake, he moved his up 2" a couple years ago maybe he can still help you. More or less its going to be simple plasma cut realigning rewelding and drilling new adjusted bolt holes if its anything like my ARB was. email him here: neliconcept@gmail.com

Please use the search feature in the future before posting a question. If you had you might have found these...and your answer.

thanks for that link, but I was actually looking of alternatives to buying or have the brackets made, weather I can do some drilling or use my bumper brackets.

But thanks for that link, it seems it really can't be done with simple drilling, and I'll look into these brackets.

Nope, it can't be done with simple drilling...that was the point.

Like I said, in the future if you'll search a bit you can find the answer to most questions readily and easily.

Welcome to YT.

ordered those brackets, thanks for the link

also, I'm no noob, I've been on automotive forums for as long as I've been driving--actually even a few years before also, so I'm aware of the search function, but with most forums the search is pretty useless.

I will give YotaTech's search a shot next time
