Question Tires Rubbing??

Hi,

I have an 01 Millennium edition 4runner with 16x10 mickey Thompson M/T classics and stock sized BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's. Mickey Thompson states that the tires should not rub but they rub every time I turn my wheels. I haven't really heard of the front suspension bagging on these vehicles but I haven't searched a ton either. The yota has 92K, could the front springs be shot or is Mickey Thompson lying? Also, does anybody now the stock ground height for this model and the best place to measure from to check? Also I can't seem to find stock front suspension for sale anywhere, any reasons why?

Thx.

If it is rubbing when you turn I would suspect incorrect backspacing. If it rubs while going over bumps I would start to look at the suspension. What size of "stock" do you mean? I ask because that rim seems a little wide for a 265.

Your 16x10's are most likely causing the problem. Your stock tire should be about a 10.50" width, way too skinny for a 10" wide wheel, even a little too skinny for an 8" wide wheel.
