Question Time for new tires...

Well okay, my tires are almost bald...like completely bald, and it's time for new ones. However, as always, money is a huge issue. I am pretty sure I can fit 31" on my stock suspension (85 runner), anyone know for sure?
Also, there is this place in town that sells used tires...they are cheap, I am not really sure what I would be getting myself into though, used anything can never mean the best. Anyone have any experience with used tires?

If the tires are the same brand, and model, and have the same wear across the face (tread depth), and have never been patched, and meet your needs, go for it.

Yes you can fit 31''s on your stock wheels.
I had a brand new 85 toyota truck and it came with 31''s
on it from the dealer. I only had them rub slightly with full
compression and the wheel turned full lock.

Hope this helps Doug
