Question throw out bearing woes

Got sent to the boonies by the boss but i'm back alive... anyways... got a problem with my clutch...the throw out bearing is sqealing when the engaged ( foot not pressing on the clutch) if I lightly take up the clutch it goes away...so what I want to know is where is the adgustment for the clutch is it under the dash like the brake or is it under the truck behind the skid plate? any help this way would be useful thanks...Aviator

hehe welcome to the land of the 5-speed crickets. You can adjust the clutch all you want, it's not going to fix the squeal. You can spray any amount of lube in the bellhousing you want, it's not going to fix the squeal (maybe temporarily though). The only fix is to replace the bearing, and you might as well do the whole clutch when you're in there. I finally broke down and did mine last year, not because clutch was bad, but because I just couldn't take the crickets anymore. When I got replacement parts, the new TO bearing had a different part number, don't know if they changed anything, but so far the crickets are still sleeping.

If you're up to it yourself I did a short writeup on it.
