spec.1987 22re
1 vta-e2, 200-800
2 idl-e2, <2.3k
3 idl-e2, open-infinite
4 vta-e2, 3.3k-10k
5 vcc-e2 3.0k-7.0k
this is what the tps read
1 500
2 meter did not move. open?
3 same as 2
4 6.0k
5 8.5k
is the Tps toast?? could this cause a crappy idle for a hour then run great other times? is $85 for a new one at napa a decent deal? Thanks for all the help

Have you tried to adjust it yet? That will throw everything off if it's not set properly.
Check out: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/index.shtml
Pull the EFI fuse for 10 minutes after you get it all set, that will reset the computer and CE light, unless it still senses a problem.

You dont, you gotta remove the throttle body. I just unbolted it from the intake then unscrewed the bottom one. No need to drain the coolant. After that, put some allen's in instead of the phillips.
