throttle body issues!!!
okay so this past weekend i removed my throttle body and cleaned it. i did use a sensor safe cleaner... anyways after reconnecting everything my engine now either idles too low to where it just stalls out or it revs up to 3500-4000 rpm and stays there. if i punch the gas several times, the rpms will drop back down and stall out. i checked everything and it is all hooked back up right... do i need to replace the IAC or the TPS???

The low idle problem sounds like something with the IACV. Don't know about the high idle, though. Is the throttle cable binding? Any funk around the throttle plate?
I have a TB from a 96 in great shape if you do happen to need parts.

Make sure you have reconnected ALL hoses and vacuum lines.
Really, recheck everything and make sure that you have reconnected.
I recently cleaned my TB and left the vacuum line off that is actually right under the the gasket area. Of course I was sputtering and rough-idling until I found the hose.

Does it run if someone holds the pedal down a lil after starting it?
I had my 4runner in the shop a few months back to get an injector replaced and they had to take off the throttle body to do it. Well apparently the IAC doesn't like to be moved about or left sitting upside down so sometimes after a job where the TB is taken off you need to spray some TB cleaner into the hole inside the TB that goes to the IAC and run the engine a little, maybe even give the IAC a few taps to dis lodge any particles. I did that and its run fine since....probably should just clean out the whole thing in the future.
Hope this helps
