Tail light condensation

I noticed there's always condensation in my tail lights when it rains or when I wash the truck (04Tacoma). Anyone else notice this on your Taco/4R?

No but I have heard about this on other cars...take em out and look at the rubber seal around the edge, sometimes dirt or other things can get lodged in there from those high powered sprayers at your local car wash or by some other means...this happened to one of my corner lights, a little bit of silicone on the outside and it works just fine now.

You have a problem someware. You should be able to submerge the whole truck under water without getting any moisture inside the tail lights. Take them out and look for cracks. Check the seat on the bulb plug.

Submerging the tailights into water without leaking? Toyota trucks may be good, but they ain't that good. We're not driving underwater submersibles here, just normal street trucks.lol!

Trying using RTV or windshield caulk to seal the back of the bulbs. That'll definitely keep any water out.

Since your Tacoma is relatively new, why not just take it to the dealer and have them fix it? It should still be under warranty. There may even be a service bulletin on that particular problem.
