Cool Tacoma VIdeo Planned....

Sorry to the 4runner guys....may plan one of those in future....
Ok in the next couple months i want to develop a commercial style video for a school project ( the project work starts in 1mth so i got until then to get ideas) and i wanted to do it on a the vehicle i love the most =] Taco's......anyway im looking for ideas on what to have in it. Also if there are people out there who have cool (and good quality DV-D8 type) clips of thier offroading adventures or jsut some wacke dout things they did in thier taco (180 spin it like ive seen) or something like that. Im kinda basing this on the car commercials out there, but i want ot focus on what the tacoma can do and does best:
Speed (fast ), Power (Towing), Off-Road ability (duhhh)

Problem with me is that it take sa bit of time for me to get the idea then it just takes off from thier. I am going to be subbmitting this to film/video festivals all over USA/Canada as well, so im going to work my ass off on it.

SO any ideas that you may have of what kind of things i should put in then throw them my way for sure. Here are some specs of the video that im going to work around:

Time: 30sec-1min (for commercial) 2min-5min (Info Video)
Format: DV/Digital 8 Format-Input Out to DVD/DV Tape and web brodcast (on my website)
Audio: 5.1 Surround Sound Hopfully (DVD) 2 Channel Sterio (DVD/DV)
Edited with: Adobe Primiere, Adobe After Effects, Digidesign Pro Tools
Goal: TO show off Tacoma Trucks and hopfully to get some exposure in the TV world.

Of course all credit will be given to everyone who helps out.

Thanks!
Johnny R.

P.S- If any of you have D8 or DV tapes of footage and you rather me uploading it to my computer format then i will pay for the tape to be shipped up here and ill ship it back to you as well.
Or if you up it to your computer (raw .avi no compressing) you can easily upload it to my server via internet (takes a long time but worth it as i need the best possible quality)

P.S.S-If you can lend a hand in other things like editing or creating cool looking titles or something let me know as well.

sounds like a lot of fun! i love video editing. premier is a great program. i would love to help out, but i don't have any tacoma footy. i hardly ever break out my mini dv camera on trail runs just because i don't have any where to post it or anything like that. sounds like a great project and i just wanted to wish you luck. i might have to make my own little one for 4Runners.

I have a Tacoma video doing some serious burnouts, and couple videos of Tacomas in off-road situations. Just let me know.

My buddy should still have the long ass burnouts and some off-road stuff since his roomate has a taco. The burnouts are posted in the video thread at the top of this subject. I know three guys down here at school with tacos, one is CRAZY and the others are moderately moded. Let me know what you need, we have an abandoned race track as well as some off-road trails, so let me know I'm a video/film student as well, so i'm all about helping out a fellow student. I have access to finalcut and avid and pretty much any editing equipment you could ask for. As well as two xl1s (friends) and as many gl1s as you could ask for from the school. Let me know! Now that I think about it your going to be wanting stock trucks aren't you? Are you going to do a cross generation or just certin years?

Ok well, my intro diea (which is goign down as story board soon) is basicly going to need a Newer Tacoma Double Cab for the "grocery getter mobile" stock as well.
This soccer mom will be driving peacfully down the highway in the center lane with kids in the back and you know the story. Well you hear this whine of the S/C and this roar of larger 32's 33's pounding the road we switch angles to see a s/c'ed tacoma and a lifted and heavily modded offroad tacoma one on each side of the dbl cab....we follow them and eventualy the offroad tacoma goes off the highway into the dirt, then some sort of transition occurs to show some clips of offroading......bah its hard to "write" i will make up some crappy quality story board soon.
anyway turbo can you PM me your email and i can talk to you via that or even MSN.....

Vatoloco,
Yes i would like whatever you can get me, what is the quality in them? Let me know! Thanks
