tacoma skid plate

Does anyone know if the decorative aluminum skid plate for a 2003 tacoma would work on a 2001 4runner?

Yes, those are the ones most people use, since they're cheaper and more readily available
Its what I have
Forgot to say if you have a fat lip bumper it'll work but the brackets will need some slight modification

here you go
Perfect

but you will have to do something with the brackets if you want it to fit.
The ones that are typically on ebay will fit the older 4runner bumpers perfectly

here's a part number that I found fat lip bumper 4runners using
PZ327-35010

I got mine for $70 and I modded some new brackets to fit with the Tacoma brackets to move the plate forward by 3" to perfectly hug the curve of the fatlip bumper and IMO looks better than using the stock '02 4Runner brackets since mine doesn't stick out so far and low.
