Tacoma master cylinder swap

To those who have completed the tundra brake upgrade (S13WE 199mm) on there tacoma, did anybody swap there stock 13/16" master cylinder for the larger 15/16" 4runner one? I just completed the tundra brake swap on my '02 Tacoma w/ 3.4 V6 4x4 non-ABS truck and my pedal travel has increased significantly. From what I've read, the ones who have completed the swap on the 4runners haven't had the pedal travel problem. Do the master cylinders interchange? Would it cause any proportioning problems in the rear brakes? I know air in the line could be causing the pedal travel but the pedal does get firm eventually and Ive power bleed the brakes twice already w/ no air coming out. I know these brakes threads are everywhere but any help would be appreciated.
