Surco rack need fairing advice.
I'm trying to find a fairing to use on my surco safari rack.
The Yakima fairing looks pretty solid but it's made for round bars. Will it still work or does anyone have any other ideas? TIA.

I got my old Yakima fairing mounted on my BVG rack. The Yak rack will not work withy my basket, but with some custom brackets I made from parts at the hardware store, I was able to mount the Yak on.
Another possibility is to custom made a fairing from plexiglass you can find at home depot.
They're not that expensive and you can cut them to size and shape with some cutting tools. I am contemplating this route, so I can have a larger fairing than the Yak.
Anyways, hope that helps

Now my only other consideration is if the rack is 45" wide should the fairing be 44" or 50"?

Anyways, let me know if you need help.
