supercharger noise?????
Should the supercharger be relativley quiet at idle?
Mine has a sound almost like a quiet desiel. Is that normal or should
I have that looked into?
Thanks for your help.
Has anyone had a problem with the tensioner squeelling?

Yes, it should be quiet at idle (at least mine is). There is, however, additional noise on throttle and certainly at full boost.
Wish I could be more helpful. Good luck.

It should be relatively quiet, the only sound you might hear is a muffled whine, definately not a sound like a diesel. It sounds like you might have a problem... hope everything comes out ok.

should you not hear low level turbine like sound from the S/C at idle? dkubz are you hearing a knocking like a diesel or a smooth gear-like buzzing?

How many miles are on it?
From what I gather as the mileage increases items like the nose gear start to wear out. So that could be your problem depending on the mileage and use.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Idle in gear at 400 rpm- mine has always made a ticking noise but when in neutral or park at idle- it's smooth. 50K miles and counting.

There is less than 10,000 miles on the supercharger and the belts have been tightened. I do get the normal whine when opening up the throttle. The noise happens at idle after warming up a little and when I am coasting and press on the throttle just a bit and I can hear the noise when I release the throttle. It almost sounds like something is grinding in the supercharger. Anybody has any thoughts on the squeeling belt tensioner? The dealer swapped out the tensioner but it still squeels although not as often. I can see the tensioner vibrating at idle then smooths out when the throttle is pressed.
Thanks for your help.
