What kind of problems are you having that you think you need to mess with it?
A little 3-in-1 oil should lube the bushings and stop the squeek.

I don't think I am having any problems with it other than the squeak. But, I don't have any comparison data either.
The set screw is screwed in all the way. Does that seem right?

They are travel stop screws, not set screws. There function is to limit the travel of the valve. If not set right the valve can stick in the all the way closed position.
With the screw backed all the way out lightly force the valve to the closed position and release it and see if it sticks. You can the screw to allow the valve to close, but not go to far and jam or stick in the bore or throat. Adjust it so that the travel stop screw is taking the laod and preventing it from sticking in the bore. I have seen more then one that was not set correctly from the factory causing improper supercharger operation.
