Stupid question

I am trying to take off my factory hitch. I soaked all the bolts in liquid wrench and I could only get 3 out of the 8 bolts loose. I would kill to have some air tools right now. But without them, how do I get the last 5 loose? Any tips would be appreciated.

(putting a pipe over the wrench to get more leverage)

I'd just take it to a shop and let them do it. They should not charge you more than a couple of bucks. It sure beats trying to take them off the hard way!

BTW, have you tried spaying them with WD-40?

Cheater bar should do the trick. Or, get a bigger wrench

Cheater bar definitely, along with a good heavy duty socket and ratchet. Also try banging the bolts a few times with a hammer prior to breaking them loose but be careful not to damage any threads. Good Luck.
