Question Strangest Exhaust Question yet

I have a really strange question about upgraded exhausts...

For those of you who have to let your car warm up in the winter and have larger/louder pipes, is it real loud while idling at the highspeed idle (when warming up)?

I am not sure if ECU cars have high speed idle or not, but I know that my truck is already kinda loud warming up in the mornings just with the dual air-filter mod, I wouldn't want to wake up/ tick off the neighbors when I upgrade the pipes.

No one has a response? Not a simple "yes its loud" or "no its quiet"?

Mine is not any louder at all warming up at high idle with the new Vortex muffler I just had installed. Sounds pretty much the same until after 2000 rpm.

My exhaust is louder during warm-up, but not piss-off-the-neighbors loud.

Thats because when your engine is cold, it runs a little richer to help it warm up quicker. Then when it reaches proper temperature it backs it off to save fuel. I love my dynomax. Sometimes I wish it was louder, and some times I wish it was quieter. More and more, I think its just right .
