Strange Problem

I Used to Drive A 94 jeep Wrangler V6. It Was A Great Car But It Broke Down All The Time. After less than one year the tranny messed up so i decided to rip the jeep. So i Got a 2000 4 Cylinder 4Runner. The Other Day i Got a Flat Tire. So I Was taking off the bolts when two of them just broke off? The Dealer Took Care Of The Problem But Has Anyone Had That Problem Before And If you Did What Causes That?

I think if the lug nuts have been over-torqued they'll snap off, usually someone gets a little too excited with the air ratchet.

i had that problem with a previous car. the shop that had taken (ill)care of it had mis threaded the lug nuts and torqued them down so there was no chance of them coming of in one piece. THEY charged me about ten bucks per stud for a mistake they made. Funny how that works huh??
