Just wanted to look diffrent without spending $$$$$$$$$$

I just used regular gloss enamel spray-paint. I didn't even remove the tires when I painted them just too lazy! I just do occasional touch-ups once in a while for chipping. Cheers!

I did the same thing to my aluminum rims and my extra set of steel rims. Used cheap flat black paint though. Can't believe how much power I lose running the steel rims compared to the aluminum rims. They're the same size but one steel rim weighs approx. 10 more lbs. than the aluminum one.

That has convinced me to paint my stock wheels and use them as my winter set. Looks great!

Hey, nobody noticed that I also painted my shocks chrome silver as well as my axle and springs Really looks great and tidy from behind!

very cool i did the same thing to my runner ( with gloss black ) left the tires on also . I like your paint job on the bottom mind if i copy did you have to tape anything off down there

I want to paint my rear axle also, was just unsure of the best way to do it, how did you do yours?

Has anyone thought of powder coating their rims? I think it would be a tougher finish. Any thoughts?

I'm glad that you liked it guys! I didn't tape off anything underneath (too lazy), just spray it on and that's it! I also plan to paint some parts under the hood with different colors to make it look better.
